Repton go For New Schoolboy Champ Record !

This weekend Repton BC will be focusing on their 9 National Schoolboy finalists. Our Junior 'Super Squad will be travelling up to Liverpool tomorrow for this years National ABA Schoolboy Finals. The last time we had a record haul of Schoolboy titles was back in 1983 when we had 7 Winners out of 8 Finalists.

Our Finalists this year are the following boxers...

Class A ...  John Lee under 30kgs, Adaam Hassan under 32kgs, Rakim Tatou under 34 kgs, Jamil Khan under 40 kgs and Henry Turner under 42 kgs

Class B... Jessie Dean Harris ...Under 63.5 Kgs

Class C... Levi Lee under 38 kgs, Levi Coates under 40 kgs and Paddy Ward under 52 kgs 

The Finals will take place over 2 days this weekend at Everton Park Sports Centre, Homer rd, Liverpool. Weigh-in 10am till 12 Boxing will commence at around 12:30.   There will be 25 bouts on Saturday 2nd March and 25 bouts on Sunday 3rd March.

Our boys are looking in Great shape and are very keen to break a record that was set by the club exactly 30 years ago today !

All the boxers and coaches have worked really hard to get this far in the championships, showing that Dedication, hard work and motivation is always the key to success. We wish our boys the Best of Luck in their quest to break the old club record.
